More Books, One Search: ePlatform & FSI Partner for Book Week

Book Week is an opportunity for schools to celebrate stories, introduce students to new authors and create fresh excitement around reading.

This year, ePlatform and Functional Solutions International are working together to make digital reading easier for FSI schools to discover and access.

Through a new federated search integration, ePlatform titles can now appear directly within SmartSuite Library. Eligible FSI schools can also opt in to receive three months of complimentary ePlatform access as part of the Book Week launch.

Discover ePlatform Titles in SmartSuite Library

Students are more likely to use digital library resources when they can find them through the systems they already know.

With the new federated search integration between ePlatform and FSI, students can search SmartSuite Library as usual and discover eBooks and Audiobooks from ePlatform available to their school alongside its other library resources.

This gives schools a simpler way to make digital titles more visible, without asking students to search across multiple catalogues.

More Choice During Book Week

Popular Book Week titles can quickly become difficult to access when a school has only one or two physical copies available.

Digital access gives students another way to discover and borrow books, while helping schools extend their collection beyond the physical library shelves.

ePlatform provides students with 24/7 access to digital reading, along with tools that allow them to adjust font size, spacing and background colours, use reading support features and continue reading across compatible devices.

By connecting ePlatform with the library system students already use, the partnership makes digital titles more visible without introducing another place students must remember to search.

Three Months of Complimentary Access

FSI schools without an active ePlatform subscription can opt in through the FSI Marketplace to receive:

Three months of complimentary ePlatform access.

Schools that choose to continue after the trial will receive:

$250 in content credit when they sign up through the FSI Marketplace.

Existing ePlatform customers can also receive $250 in content credit with each renewal through the FSI Marketplace. The credit can be used to add more titles to your school's ePlatform collection through the ePlatform Shop.

Places are limited to the first 150 eligible schools. Opt-ins close 31 August.
